Been a while since my last post. Things been a bit hectic lately.
Today after church I went to accompany the Mister to pick up his suit at Pasar Mayestik. Pasar Mayestik is famous for tailorship and clothing material.
The Mister was so excited when he arrived at the tailor shop. He quickly tried on his newly made suit and he looked so dapper. The tailor did a good job.
We then continue to have lunch at Rumah Makan Sepakat, a traditional Padangnese food located at the basement. Do not expect this is a typical restaurant where you see a square and organised space filled with chairs and round tables.

Well, this one is situated in the alley and the seating scene is rather unorganised. It is scaterred around to the back of the shop. They have long chairs and tables.
Their food is surprisingly tasty. The Mister told me this place is famous for its fish. So I ordered their fish.
The fish was really tasty no doubt. Great use of spices and they tasted so rich, profound, vibrant and intense. The fish absobed all the richness of flavor. It is very soft and tender too. Plus, it is not hot so for you who do not like hot and spicy food this is a good option.
Deffo worth a visit guys if you happen to hang out on and about Pasar Mayestik. The place is inside the mall so no worries for the heat, it is air-conditioned.
Next stop, is a really nice new gem in Senopati. Have a look at my next post! cheers xoxo
