Sel-Planet Spa, Balangan - Bali

After attending a friend's wedding and went through all the singing, dancing and clapping plus the climbing up and down a hill (oh fyi our dear friend's wedding was located in a valley), we felt quite exhausted the next day. We could feel our stiff muscles all over our body. So, I decided to take my husband and myself to a spa retreat. I found just the right place. *Wink.

 

Introducing Sel-Planet Spa located in Balangan beach, Bali.

 

Part of the property of Biu-Biu, a nice accommodation place offering private bungalows, Sel-Planet Spa is all about natural vista and a mixture of traditonal and modern massage techniques. It also uses locally and internationally sourced products.

Sel-Planet Spa has a very unique open-air concept where customers can lay down on the bed directly facing the vast blue Indian ocean from an altitude as it sits nicely on top of a high cliff. The gradation of blue hues from the bottom to the top beautifully adorning the horizon. Gazing at this almighty painting will make you feel like touching heaven. And it is so real.

We opted in for a Balinese traditional massage and the ladies who massaged us were so chatty and treated us very well. The treatment was so damn good that made us fell into sleep instantly. The sound of the sea and touch of wind breeze lullabied us even further. We couldn't resist but to let our mind wandered and snoozed away.

 

After the treatment completed we sat on the front chair to soak some rays. It was quite a hot day so we put some sunscreen beforehand. 

If you fancy to play chess, the Spa provides gigantic chess boards for guests to play.

We did not want to head back to town just yet. What do you think of two footloose and fancy free kiddos like us would like to do? Exploring for a little bit more I suppose. We roamed around the Biu-Biu complex and reckoned that it was indeed a pretty, down to earth and friendly place.

To sum up Sel-Planet Spa is synonymous with trusted decadance and it is a no exception. It is suitable for couples and families or even if you wanna take a friend it is more than OK too.
