Sanur Beach, Chasing the Sunrise

When visiting Bali, we often get carried away by the parties atmosphere all around us. But, for once in a while forget about what happen last nite. Today is a brand new day, new memory kicks in and the others slip away. So before the day starts, I, personally feeling encouraged to catch the sunrise.

I woke up a few minutes away before  sunrise time and took a ride with my man on a hired motorcycle and headed off to Sanur beach. We got there just before the sunrise time.

Witnessing the sky transformation from the dark shades of dawn to the bright sunshiny day is truly refreshing and brighten up my day. The smell of the sea and gentle sea breeze give you a warm welcome to start your day.

For some early risers wallowing inside the sea water is rather comforting. Does not matter if the water is cold or (perhaps) not. Dipping their body inside the sea water is somewhat therapeutic.

We were very lucky to be able to catch the dramatic view of mister sunshine. It surely worth every energy we have to open the day.

Moments like this does not last for long, sadly. So we truly embraced it (while we could).

We took a short walk around the area. Apparently in this part of Bali, we found some similarities in their breakfast menu to what we normally find in Java island. It's a set of fried tofu mixed with chilly sauce. Yummy, but definitely not for the weak stomach.

The rest of the area is a beautiful walking space. There are many bungalows and hostels around too. If you are into surfing you can rent a surfing board and surf on the beach.

We then headed off back to our hotel after a few minutes of brisk walk and enjoying the views from the surrounding area.

Do not take this gem out of your 'must-do' list whilst visiting Bali. And remember to wake at appropriate time so you can catch the sunrise on time.
