Hotel Mulia Bali Resort and Villas - Hotel Review

If one asks me, what is strikingly different from the Mulia Bali compared to other luxury hotels in the neighbourhood, I'd gladly say is the way they personalised their service. In most luxury hotels, guests are provided with a selection of cold drinks chosen by the hotel, not the guests. It's like a general template for 5-stars establishment in the island. But, Mulia Bali surely does not follow tradition. They let us, the guests, to choose which drink we would like to have as our welcome drinks. Hot or cold, no problemo! Furthermore, they gave us free cocktails and a 15% discount to have lunch at one of their restaurants too.
And we opt in for Coffee :)

Location

The Mulia Bali beautifully sits at the front of a calm, turquoise blue water and golden white sand Geger beach in Nusa Dua. It provides picturesque seascapes with Geger Temple sitting on a cliff as a backdrop and pleasant waves that allow guests to swim around uninterrupted. The resort staff religiously clean the shore from rubbish and patches of seaweed ensuring guests to feel at highest comfort. Privacy is their utmost service too. The members of public are not allowed to access the bordered footpath leading to the resort private beach area.

Rooms and Facilities

As its moniker, "Grandeur Deluxe Room", the room we booked, is truly big and grandiose. At 57 sqm, the room is equipped with marble floors, 46 inch smart TV and generous space bathroom and patio overlooking the ocean. Perfect for a person like me, who love relaxing in the patio, gazing at the beautiful panoramic ocean vista with radiant colours during sunset time and just enjoy the moment.

After the sun slowly disappears, I continued to lounge at a comfortable lounge chair inside the room and wolfed-down that final chapter of my favourite fiction. Or, in the case of my husband was sitting straight up in front of the long-wooden working desk with a fast Wi-fi to catch-up with his work. Oh, well what can I say, having his own consulting business whilst working full time elsewhere is a challenging juggle.

Apart from its stunningly scenic and private beach, the resort offers 4 different types of swimming pools for guests to cool-off from the hot and humid Bali weather. There are the oversized ocean front pool with swim-up bar, pools with cabana and children-sized pool for your little ones. Rest assured the resort has everything handled to suit everyone's needs. What you should do next, is to make the time to try each and every pool. No need to hurry, because you know what, they're just so Instagramable. We spent hours just to take the best angle for those lovely pictures.

Following the swim and photo sessions, our tummy suddenly rumbling to be fed. The resort provides at least 4 restaurants offering different type of cuisines: from Japanese, Chinese, Mediterranean to International cuisines. As the biggest fan of Japanese delicacies, the choice was never been hard for me and my husband. It's just felt so natural that we opted-in for Edogin, their ever so scrumptious Japanese restaurant. I dunno about you but it's an instant aphrodisiac for us and the waiter is very friendly and helpful also (too bad we did not take any picture here 😟😟 oopss).

Entertainment

Surprise surprise....we did not know where our energy came from but after dinner (and previously swimming and photo sessions), we felt like listening to good and loud beats and dance the night away. We headed off to CJ's bar and swap our vouchers for free cocktails here. The music was great and entertaining and the bar provides spacious dance floor. So, we mingled with other guests, dancing, laughing and just enjoy the night.

Conclusion

Overall, I and my husband truly enjoy our stay at this amazing hotel establishment. The hotel not only provides us with tantalising facilities but also a truly personalised service that will obviously stay in our memory. Only one drawback though, we wish to spend more time at this place but unfortunately this time we could only have the public holidays for traveling around.

Maybe next time, we will stay longer at the resort. For any of you who want to spend a romantic holiday or family holiday with your loved ones, we strongly recommend you to stay at the Mulia Bali. Trust me, you won't regret it and no, this is by no means a sponsored review. It's merely our honest and humble opinion about the hotel and our personal experience.
